Milk in China?

When I read your previous post about the teacher in the pre-sessional English course falsely stating that Chinese do not drink milk, it reminded me of our conversation in China.  Remember when I asked you if Chinese people drink milk and you said, “Of course!  They do!”?  I asked this question because you mentioned that many Chinese people do not eat cheese, and I also noticed that cheese is very rare in Chinese food.  So, I thought that if cheese is rare, then milk would be rare too as they’re both dairy products.  Obviously, I made the wrong assumption.  However, I learned, of course, from you.  :)
